The successful candidate will lead and participate in the development and implementation of ICT enabled and business improvement and innovation initiatives.
Role responsibilities:
- Develop documentation in consultation with the business, including business cases, requirements, plans, registers, reports and recommendations.
- Under take complex research, analysis and evaluation to deliver improvements aligned to customer, digital and cyber security strategies.
- Identify and facilitate innovative delivery pathways for achieving Cyber Security strategies and outcomes.
- Establish and maintain ongoing communication and relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Lead the development and implementation of effective change management strategies for continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and effective implementation of initiatives.
- Promote, educate and raise awareness to support the uplift of services by providing insights and verification that information systems and processes meets Federal, State and local security compliance criteria.
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Proven ability to provide high level leadership and co-ordination within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and support initiatives and realisation of benefits including the ability to prepare relevant reports, submissions and briefings to assist in decision making.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills and the capacity to liaise, consult and negotiate with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the analysis and synthesis of data to inform and support planning processes, priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, quality and risk management by pro-actively identifying opportunities for improvement and shows flexibility and a willingness to make decisions.
- Effective written and oral communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and react responsively to stakeholder expectations and forge strong networks and partnerships across a complex system to drive quality and performance outcomes.
Specific Working Conditions:
- Afterhours work may be required to support critical cyber security outcomes.
- While not mandatory familiarity with business process improvement methodologies, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, Lean and project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Agile Project Management Methodologies.
- An understanding of Cyber Security, Health Care environments is preferred.
- Certifications in Agile and/or Change Management would be highly desirable.
