As our highly valued Senior Project Officer, you will contribute to ensuring a bright future for Queensland, Australia and our global partners. You will do this with people who want you to grow and progress.
Reporting to Director, Migration Queenslandyou will have the opportunity to lead key initiatives within the Skilled Workforce Attraction Office (SWAO), established under the Queensland Workforce Strategy. The SWAO aims to provide targeted assistance to support the Queensland Government and industry to; advocate for skilled migration needs, educate employers, and promote Queensland as a preferred career destination to help meet labour market needs across the state.
Based in Brisbane, here's what your role will involve:
- Support the team to undertake the operational, administrative, marketing and promotional functions to meet the intent and objectives of the SWAO.
- Develop and foster effective relationships with government and industry stakeholders focused on helping address some of Queensland's critical skills shortages.
- Project manage the delivery of MQ's website redesign, including technical understanding, supplier management, stakeholder engagement, quality assurance, and content production.
- Design and deliver engaging and strategically relevant marketing and communications initiatives, in partnership with key stakeholders, to attract and retain targeted skilled migrants to Queensland regions.
- Identify opportunities to improve multi-channel marketing and engagement to educate employers and attract skilled migrants, using relevant tools, technologies and techniques.
- Support the team to deliver on global talent attraction and retention initiatives in line with strategic priorities for the organisation, including the TIQ 2022-2032 Strategy.
- Create, analyse and report on SWAO campaigns, using the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
- Establish and maintain effective communication strategies, protocols, stakeholder negotiation and liaison activities across cultures and other private and public sector organisations.
- Represent TIQ at relevant government and industry forums, on working groups and committees, and at state, national and international events, as required.
