Mareeba State High School is a 7-12 secondary school with an enrolment of approximately 800 students. Mareeba State High School is located only a short drive away from the Cairns Central Business District. About the Role

In this fulfilling position as Deputy Principal - Junior Secondary, you'll have the opportunity to influence the future of education while working alongside a committed team of educators and the wider school community.

You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:

• Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
• Deputise for the Principal when required.
• Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
• Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
• Set high standards for student and staff performance.
