In this role you will deliver safe and effective occupational therapy services to consumers of the HITH service, their partners, carers and families, as part of an interprofessional team.

About your role:

• Provide consistent, safe and efficient occupational therapy services and case management when required, within an interprofessional team, under clinical practice supervision commensurate with experience.
• Direct allied health assistants when required in carrying out clinical and non-clinical occupational therapy tasks under the endorsed delegation model.
• Effectively communicate with professional and operational supervisors, and internal and external stakeholders to optimise clinical services and consumer experience.
• Provide clinical practice supervision, education, and mentoring of less experienced Occupational Therapists, allied health assistants, support staff and students with the guidance of senior clinical staff, assisting with core competency training and skill development.
