  • Salary range: $49.83 to $73.24 p.h. (HP3)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

This position is part of a team of physiotherapists delivering centre (clinic) based, home based and residential aged care facility based - assessment, individual and group programs, with a focus on complex health conditions, post-acute and rehabilitation focused interventions, and hospital avoidance and reablement programs.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

  • Mandatory: Qualification in physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and current registration with, or eligibility for current registration with APHRA Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
  • Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate.
  • Highly desirable: Demonstrated competency in the provision of physiotherapy clinical services with community based clients presenting with chronic and aging health conditions and/or rehabilitation focused services both individually and within a group settings.
  • This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
