As the Coordinator Patient Support Services, you will be responsible for the day to day management of Operational Support Services at Gympie Hospital.
You will enable your team through effective communication, clear direction and on the job support. You will partiicapate in the recruitment of staff and provide training, support and feedback and enhance performance by being an active role model for others.
Your well-developed knowledge of the relevant Food and Environmental Service guidelines and policies will provide a safe and healthy service for patients and a safe, productive and healthly working environment for staff.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership and direction to sustain the provision of food, cleaning, linen and waste services in accordance with Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health policies, procedures, standards
- Supervise OO3 supervisors in line with Queensland Health/SCHHS HR policies and procedures, including performance appraisal and development.
- Ability to utilise Queensland Health software systems such as MyHR for rostering for rostering attendance to ensure staff are paid accurately and S4Hana for equipment ordering and goods receipt.
Remuneration value up to $103,636 p.a., comprising salary between $82,486 - $90,832 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO5).
