The Opportunity
The Transformation Office is responsible for transforming DPI and its service delivery model so that it can effectively implement the Primary Industries Prosper 2050, the 25-year blueprint for Queensland's primary industries.

Key accountabilities

The Project Officer will work within the DPI Transformation Office.

As our Project Officer, you will:
• Provide high level administrative support to facilitate the delivery of the DPI Transformation Office's projects including correspondence tracking, project tracking.
• Ensure compliance policies, best practice guidelines and approved formal project tools and methodologies to enable the achievement of consistent and quality project
outcomes.
• Develop project documentation, including (but not limited to) formal project plans, supporting project artefacts and documents for Senior Leaders.
• Monitor and report on work package activities against agreed criteria.
• Support risk and issue identification, assessment and mitigation activities by ensuring risks and issues are documented, reviewed and escalated as appropriate.
• Engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, facilitating co-design, consultation, and negotiation to achieve shared outcomes and foster productive working relationships.
• Participate as an active member of the Transformation Office team to develop and implement projects across the department.
• Effectively plan, prioritise, and coordinate multiple tasks and projects, ensuring timely delivery of outcomes in a dynamic environment with competing demands.

You may also have
• Experience in project management, program management, change management  and/or transformation.
• While not mandatory, a relevant qualification will be well regarded.

While flexible work  arrangements are supported, candidates residing within the SEQ region are  reasonably expected to attend the office on a regular basis to support team  collaboration and operational needs.
