Your new role:
As a Nurse Practitioner in the Minor Injury and Illness Clinic, you'll play a pivotal role in providing advanced, patient-centred care in collaboration with a skilled multidisciplinary team. You'll make autonomous clinical decisions and lead nurse-led models of care by:
- Delivering comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment and referral for patients presenting with minor injury or illness.
- Applying advanced practice skills and evidence-based care to optimise outcomes.
- Working collaboratively across Bayside Health Service sites to ensure continuity and excellence in patient care.
- Leading quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient flow and care coordination.
- Mentoring and supporting clinical staff in advanced nursing practice.
- Participating in research and education initiatives that shape innovative healthcare delivery.
About you:
You are a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll bring expertise, leadership and a commitment to evidence-based practice by:
- Holding current registration with the NMBA as a Nurse Practitioner and relevant Master's qualification.
- Demonstrating advanced clinical skills in emergency or minor injury/illness care.
- Applying sound clinical judgement and autonomous decision-making within scope of practice.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families and healthcare teams.
- Leading, mentoring and inspiring others to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.
- Bringing innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.

The satellite health centre treats minor illnesses and injuries that aren't life-threatening, and we also have diagnostic services for patients having treatment, including ultrasound, X-ray and pathology.
