About the Role:
The Deputy President holds a pivotal role in supporting the President in the strategic leadership of the Parole Board Queensland. As Deputy President, you will help shape the future of parole in Queensland by promoting a culture of integrity, transparency, and evidence-based decision-making.
About You:
To be eligible for this role, you must be:
- A former Judge of a State Court, the High Court, or a Court constituted under a Commonwealth Act;
- A former Magistrate; or
- A legal professional with qualifications, experience, or standing considered equivalent.
You will bring:
- Proven leadership in complex legal or judicial environments.
- A commitment to community safety, justice, and human rights.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A strategic mindset and strong operational acumen.
