As a Principal Finance Business Partner in the Business and Corporate Partnerships division, you will lead the financial strategy, insights and advice that support strong organisational outcomes. This role suits someone who enjoys guiding others, interpreting complex information and turning financial data into clear, influential advice.

Your work will include leading a skilled finance team, managing divisional budgets, analysing financial trends and preparing the high-quality analysis Executives rely on. You will oversee the full budget cycle, contribute to submissions and funding allocations, and support business units to meet their financial obligations.

You will provide expert advice on compliance with the Financial Accountability Act, Financial Performance Standard, departmental policies and the broader Financial Management Framework. You will prepare briefing notes, investment proposals and presentations, ensuring complex financial issues are communicated clearly and accurately.

Relationship building is central to this role. You will work closely with colleagues across divisions and corporate finance, promote effective information sharing, and strengthen financial capability through coaching, mentoring and targeted training. As a leader, you will foster a professional, ethical and collaborative team culture that supports continuous learning and high-quality service delivery.
