Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) is offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced leader to take on the role of Chief Superintendent,
General Manager at Maryborough Correctional Centre, within the Custodial Operations Division.
This senior executive role is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational management of a high-security correctional facility. The General Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, secure, and humane custodial services, while ensuring compliance with legislative and policy frameworks and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced senior leader with a proven track record in managing complex custodial operations. They will
demonstrate high-level strategic and operational leadership, a deep understanding of correctional legislation and offender management practices, and a commitment to rehabilitation and community safety. With strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, they will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within a high-security correctional environment.
