As our Director and CLLO (Cabinet Legislation and Liaison Officer), you will:

The Opportunity
As our Director and CLLO, you will:
• Oversee the management of the discharge of the Minister's Cabinet and Executive Council business and coordinate the flow of information between the Minister and the department on Cabinet, Executive Council and Cabinet Committee matters for the whole portfolio.
• Brief senior departmental officers, the offices of the Director-General and Minister on emergent and critical Cabinet and parliamentary issues so that they aware of timely matters requiring immediate attention.
• Liaise with senior officers on the preparation of Cabinet briefs, Cabinet and Cabinet committee submissions, Executive Council Minutes and other related executive government activities, to ensure that they meet corporate and ministerial requirements.
• Manage a team whose purpose it is to provide a high level of Cabinet and executive support services to the Minister and Director-General.
• Undertake policy analysis around Cabinet matters and prepare associated briefs, reports and coordinate whole-of-department responses to Cabinet discussion papers within the portfolio.
• Review and provide quality assurance on Cabinet briefing notes and other Cabinet documents relevant to the Minister's responsibilities.
• Manage the provision of support services for the operation of Cabinet and report on the implementation of DPI's decision implementation responsibilities.
