An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal House Officer/Registrar to be part of an innovative team of medical PHOs/Registrars supported by dynamic senior medical staff and their teams across Sunshine Coast Health. You will have opportunities to grow your clinical skills in Radiation Oncology and other sub specialties at both tertiary and regional hospitals. You will work in Radiation Oncology providing inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on outpatient clinics, radiation treatment and multidisciplinary care. We anticipate that this position will offer you experience in Radiation Oncology and that you can build on to explore future career pathways and maximise on your own professional development, as well as assist in the professional development of junior medical staff and medical students.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal House Officer/Registrar to be part of an innovative team of medical PHOs/Registrars supported by dynamic senior medical staff and their teams across Sunshine Coast Health. You will have opportunities to grow your clinical skills in Radiation Oncology and other sub specialties at both tertiary and regional hospitals. **Commencing from February 2026**
You will work in Radiation Oncology providing inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on outpatient clinics, radiation treatment and multidisciplinary care. We anticipate that this position will offer you experience in Radiation Oncology and that you can build on to explore future career pathways and maximise on your own professional development, as well as assist in the professional development of junior medical staff and medical students. There is a rich teaching culture across the health service, with many opportunities for training around the hospital.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide services in accordance with the policies and procedures of Cancer Care Services, Radiation Oncology.
- Maintain up to date clinical skills.
- Provide safe and high-quality care to patients presenting to the Cancer Care Services, Radiation Oncology.
Salary rates: $5,155.00 - $5,946.00 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L4 - L9) (temporary full-time position, 76 hrs p.f.) for up to 12 months. Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy. Applications may be used to appoint to similar vacancies for a period up to 12 months after the closing date of the initial vacancy.
