What would living and working in Mount Isa look like?
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- The ability to manage tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team
- Proven experience engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to support service delivery
- A strong awareness of sensitive issues and a commitment to maintaining privacy and complying with relevant legislation
- Well developed communication skills, including the ability to conduct difficult conversations, resolve issues, and negotiate positive outcomes

- Must hold a current C class driver's licence
- While formal qualifications are not mandatory, tertiary qualifications in human services disciplines are highly regarded
- Individuals employed on a permanent or temporary basis will be required to complete Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community).
- The successful applicant will be required to undertake training relevant to the operational demands of the role, which may include urinalysis testing, court related duties, and other training as identified by the relevant delegate to support effective service delivery within the district
