The National Fire Ant Eradication Program (NFAEP) is one of the largest biosecurity eradication programs in Australia, focused on eradicating Red Imported Fire Ants (RIFA) to protect Queensland communities, agriculture, the environment, and the economy. The program delivers large-scale surveillance, treatment, community engagement, and operational activities across multiple regions, working in partnership with state and federal governments.
