The Office of the Queensland Integrity Commissioner is seeking an AO8 Strategic IT and Digital Systems Manager to join our team.
As the Strategic IT and Digital Systems Manager, you will:
- Lead critical IT projects, ensuring alignment with time, cost, scope, and the strategic direction of the organisation.
- Administer digital systems, including the Queensland Lobbying Register and future case management systems.
- Establish robust governance processes and controls for information and data stewardship.
- Oversee day-to-day records management and website back-end support.
- Foster innovation by identifying and evaluating opportunities for new technology solutions to improve service delivery.
- Develop and uphold IT and business system guidelines and processes based on information governance principles.
- Consult with stakeholders to tailor technology and information management solutions to meet strategic and operational needs.
Operational experience
- Proven experience in IT and digital systems management, including project management and governance.
- Strong knowledge of information governance principles and digital transformation strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex IT projects.
- Extensive experience managing IT and digital services under the Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture (QGEA) policy framework.
Qualifications Technical/educational
Qualifications or background in the following areas of the role will be viewed favourably.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 4
- Global Information Security Fundamentals (GISF) and Information Security Management System (ISMS) - IS18 and ISO 27001
- Australian Signals Directorate Essential 8 Cyber Security
- Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and Microsoft Dynamics
Other
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and impacts to non-technical stakeholders and executives to inform business decision making.
- Proven negotiation, consultation and facilitation as well as advanced written and oral communication skills.
