About the role
Advance your career as a Senior Dietitian at The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH), where you will deliver high-level nutrition and dietetic clinical services to patients across the continuum of care. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist dietetic advice and collaborate effectively with colleagues, patients, and families to ensure high-quality care. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise with a high degree of independence, contributing at both a hospital and state-wide level.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Manage an allocated workload to deliver high level nutrition and dietetic clinical services to patients at The Prince Charles Hospital and across the continuum of care, within a multidisciplinary team, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards; utilising a high degree of independence within the work unit, including application at a HHS and state-wide level, with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
- Provide specialist dietetic advice to the multidisciplinary team, working cooperatively and effectively within the team and with patients/clients/families to provide high quality patient care.
- Identify, monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within clinical area and actively participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of nutrition and dietetic services and patient outcomes.
