The Manager will lead a customer focussed team which provides financial advice and services for a material portfolio of leases, enabling financial reporting and statutory billing obligations to be met for Queensland.

Job details

As Manager you will be responsible for the following key duties:

• Lead a professional team in the delivery of financial services and advice to clients and stakeholders ensuring appropriate training and support as required.

• Review systems and practices with the aim of identifying changes that will contribute to the continual improvement of reporting systems and facilitate effective implementation of legislative change.

• Communicate with influence to convey and guide acceptance of complex financial and business ideas to diverse audiences including lessees and their financial and legal representatives.

• Develop and maintain constructive, collaborative working partnerships and relationships with clients and stakeholders in order to identify, mitigate and manage financial, legal and compliance risks.

• Develop and implement strategic approaches and solutions to complex legislative and financial management issues to achieve organisation and whole-of-government objectives.

• Foster a professional environment which encourages commitment, ethical behaviour, skills development and continuous learning.

• Other duties as directed and required.
