Middlemount Community School is a state school that provides a quality education in Prep to Year 6, Junior Secondary and Senior Phase.  Our school, with an enrolment of approximately 400 students, serves the local mining community of Middlemount and the surrounding rural properties. In Prep to year 6, we develop strong foundations through the Australian Curriculum and our literacy and numeracy programs. Our Junior Secondary department builds on these foundations, with a strong focus on wellbeing and engagement. In the senior phase, students are prepared for further education and training or pathways into employment and industry through a successful program of school based apprenticeships and traineeships.

• Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. • Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
