The Office of State Revenue (OSR) provides Queenslanders with expert, insightful and trusted stewardship of Queensland revenue that supports the delivery of vital government services. We are responsible for collecting state taxes (including duties, payroll tax and land tax) and mining and petroleum royalties, administering certain grants, and collecting and enforcing unpaid fines and court orders through the State Penalties Enforcement Registry (SPER). Our workforce of around 700 people administers a revenue base of approximately $15 billion and grant schemes of approximately $100 million per annum by delivering simple, efficient and equitable revenue management services. We take a client centric approach to help our clients meet their obligations and receive their correct entitlements.

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person. In this role, you will work in a collaborative team environment to conduct and contribute to investigations and audits to ensure compliance with Queensland's revenue laws. You will also assist taxpayers through information and education to understand and meet their obligations. You will analyse, interpret and apply relevant legislation on revenue and taxation matters, make assessments, analyse risk and exercise delegations to deliver service to our clients. With the flexibility to work across different divisions across OSR, you will have valuable opportunities for continued learning, growth and career developments.
