This EXPRESSION OF INTEREST is open only to current employees of the Queensland Government.
Plan, coordinate and monitor streamlined support services to meet legislative and agreed organisational outcomes.Ensure the provision of safe, economical and efficient services in the areas of medical record management, supply, patient travel as well as porterage, cleaning, linen and food services.
Provide independent high-level advice, reports and assistance to the Director of Corporate and Support Services, the Executive Director, People Culture and Planning and other senior management on operational matters.

Is this opportunity for you?
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in Management, Business or Health Information would be highly regarded.
- Proven ability to manage the performance, participation and outcomes of diverse or challenging teams within their direct control.
- Ability to develop / enhance data parameters appropriate for the measurement of business support function performance.
- Proven ability to plan, prioritise and implement strategies with a results focus to effectively promote and manage the service, remaining flexible to adjust to change.
- High level understanding of financial management responsibilities and ability to engage management and make financial and resource allocation decision which maximise efficiency.
- Proven ability to proactively manage relationships and communicates with influence to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Provides guidance, support and structure with a commitment to quality, and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, shows flexibility and a willingness to take calculated risk.
- Understanding of the requirements to achieve a high standard of service provision in the areas of Medical Records Management, Administrative and Operational support within a health care environment.
