As a key leader in the Queensland Corrective Services team, the Manager Secure Facilities Asset Planning and Standards will play a critical role in shaping the future of correctional infrastructure in Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced asset management professional to lead the development of strategic asset management plans, drive capital works delivery, and ensure the delivery of high-quality facilities services that support the safe and secure management of correctional facilities.

Key Challenges:

  • Develop and implement forward-thinking asset management plans
  • Govern capital works projects to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Provide expert advice and representation on asset management and facilities services
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in asset management practices+
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies and
    service providers

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in capital works delivery and strategic asset planning
  • Proven track record in correctional facilities management (desirable)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in project management and knowledge of project management methodologies
