The opportunity
As our HR Recruitment Advisor, you will:
• Undertake end-to-end recruitment services, including job advertising, application management, and interview coordination.
• Provide scribing services for selection panels, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation of selection outcomes.
• Generate detailed HR reports, including recruitment metrics, talent pipelines, and workforce trends, to support decision making and strategic development.
• Manage the shared HR mailbox and respond promptly to recruitment related requests.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and procedures to attract and retain talent.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new and departing staff.
• Provide general HR advice on workforce planning, policy interpretation, and employment conditions.
• Perform other HR related tasks as required to support the team.

What we are looking for
We are seeking the best suited candidate for the role. We will achieve this by:
• assessing your eligibility and suitability to fulfill the role requirements (including, where relevant, the way you carried out previous roles).
• evaluating your potential contributions to the department and how your involvement would uphold our commitment to equity, diversity, respect, and inclusion.

While not essential, you may also have:
• A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• Experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes within a Queensland public sector environment.
• Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to manage a shared HR mailbox while delivering accurate and timely advice on a range of HR matters.
