The Rugby League Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of a high-performing Rugby League program within the school. Applicants for these positions must possess:
- Applicants should have a proven ability to lead and support staff in maintaining high standards of performance and behavior, especially within a school environment.
- Experience in designing and implementing curricula tailored to students' needs and educational goals is essential. Strong organisational skills, including the ability to plan and manage large-scale events such as awards nights and recruitment trials, are required.
- The role also calls for experience in talent identification, with the ability to assess and recruit students for the program.
- Strong collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with staff, students, parents, and school leadership.
- A passion for fostering student success both academically and athletically is essential, as is a background in sports coaching, teaching, or a related field, preferably within rugby league.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
