The AO6 Senior Advisor Business Services will provide assistance in the leadership and expertise in performance, financial management and corporate governance activities.
You will actively participate in the management of key relationships and agreements/contracts of a business nature to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of business services in a Correctional Centre.

• Assist with the provision of high-level business management analysis and advice to centre management enabling them to deliver quality, cost effective services that are consistent with Agency strategic and operational objectives.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of appropriate reporting systems and processes to facilitate effective performance, financial and resource
management.
• Monitor and report on centre performance against key indicators, ensuring that effective internal controls and risk management processes are in place for the centre to provide a high level of assurance to centre management on the integrity of reported information.
• Supervision of administration staff, ensuring effective performance management and development compliant with contemporary human resource management practices.
• Liaise with the General Manager and other members of the senior management team and provide advice on the administrative aspects of the facility's operations.
• Monitor the financial performance of the Centre and provide advice to the Business Services and Technology Manager regarding significant variances to
budget.
• Assist with the develop and write business cases and funding submissions to reflect the needs of the centre.
• Assist with management of agreements / contracts of suppliers to the centre.
