The role  
As a key member of the Supply Chain Branch (SCB), you will provide strategic and operational advice on commercial and business analysis activities, supporting the evolution of service lines within the branch. Your role involves developing financial models, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring financial due diligence for business case proposals. You will lead and manage business analysis activities, support commercial negotiations with external vendors, and monitor cost-benefit realisation. Additionally, you will establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to promote effective communication and collaboration across the organisation.  

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in leading business analysis and commercial activities in a large-scale setting, preferably within the healthcare or supply chain sectors. You will bring a high level of expertise in business analysis methodologies, financial modelling, and risk evaluation. Your ability to negotiate, facilitate, and communicate effectively within complex environments will be critical. While not mandatory, qualifications in fiscal management, business management, or supply chain management will be highly regarded. The Supply Chain Branch is in the Corporate Services Division (CSD) supporting the supply of clinical goods, pharmaceuticals and linen products to the Hospital and Health Services (HHS), Queensland Health. 
The branch is comprised of functions critical to Queensland Health's supply response, including Warehousing and Logistics, Central Pharmacy, Linen Services supported by the Operations Group. This branch brings together an end-to-end supply chain management function from demand planning through to warehousing and distribution into a single integrated branch led by the Executive Director.
