• Monitor and management Accounts Payable (AP) team’s workload and proactively address risks/delays, respond to late payment reports including small business vendors and credit card queries.
• Investigate, respond and resolve AP queries efficiently and effectively.
• Assist Accounts Payable Team during peak processing times especially during month-end and year-end.
• Creation & documentation of AP processes and tools and providing relevant training to stakeholders.

As our Finance Officer you will:
• Monitor and management Accounts Payable (AP) team's workload and proactively address risks/delays, respond to late payment reports including small business vendors and credit card queries.
• Investigate, respond and resolve AP queries efficiently and effectively.
• Assist Accounts Payable Team during peak processing times especially during month-end and year-end.
• Creation & documentation of AP processes and tools and providing relevant training to stakeholders.
• Maintain high levels of confidentiality and sensitivity in provision of services and display a willingness to plan and develop work schedules to meet critical financial and business deadlines
• Assisting Senior Management Accountants & the Manager Finance in preparing the NFAEP Program's annual budget.
• Assist with monitoring, analysing and evaluating revenue and expenditure of the NFAEP (including taking proactive corrective action when required) against budgets and providing variance commentaries.
• Assisting with month end processes including preparation of journals and accruals.
• Engage with procurement team regarding required purchase order variations or amendments.
• Contribute to finance team meetings and process improvement initiatives and ideas.
• Undertake procedures to maximise the accountability, efficiency and compliance with financial management policy, standards and practices including the internal controls self-assessment process. Proactively highlight internal controls weaknesses to the Manager Finance.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required under the direction of the Manager Finance.

You may also have
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or relevant transferable experience would be desirable
