This is a senior technical lead role within the Applications and Development team and applicants are expected to have considerable applicable experience in areas such as Technical Leadership, Software Development, Integration and Design.

In this role you will:

  • Perform business and system analysis function for web application releases and other application development projects
  • Work with business to develop detailed business and functional requirement specifications.
  • Develop detailed design documentation to communicate requirements to development team
  • Design solutions that meet business requirements while maintaining integration with existing solutions and standards
  • Analyse logged defects for solutions
  • Work effectively with business to plan and implement solutions and changes.
  • Respond to ad-hoc queries in relation to functionality within web applications and other business applications
  • Maintain application documentation
  • Review and revise requirements and design documentation standards and templates
  • Organise and lead workshops and other consultation processes
  • Document requirements and solution designs utilising standards, methods and structured techniques.
  • Provide advice regarding solutions, their impacts and risks.
  • Provide advice and input to selection of architecture components.
  • Provide strategic advice in relation to web applications and other business applications.
  • Develop solution options for new business requirements.
  • Evaluate new products and services.
  • Develop, maintain and utilise good communication with all internal and external parties.
  • Work as a valued team member.
  • Participate in, and contribute to performance appraisal and development planning.
  • Continuously improve business process.
  • Exercise and promote effective and efficient communication within the unit and work both autonomously and in a team environment to ensure that deadlines and commitments are met.
