Senior Revenue Officer - Level 1

Are you ready for the next challenge in your career? An AO5 Senior Revenue Officer - Level 1 vacancy is available in the Land Tax Division of the Queensland Revenue Office. This role will be based in the Brisbane CBD.
In this role you will analyse, interpret and apply relevant legislation and policy on revenue and taxation matters. You will make assessments, and/or approve grants, respond to technical enquiries, analyse data and exercise functions to deliver services to our clients. You will also assist the team leader in leading, supporting and coaching team members to ensure timely and effective service delivery.

Your typical day as a Senior Revenue Officer - Level 1 may include:
• Build and manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Actively support and manage staff performance and development through coaching and mentoring.
• Contribute to risk, strategic and operational planning processes.
• Review and present data in line with divisional priorities.
You will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you carry out your role.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
• High level interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated capability to use information to improve work practices that support a high performing team.
• Ability to develop a working knowledge of digital and data technology/ systems.
• Ability to review and analyse data and legislation to make sound decisions.
• Understanding of the principles of risk-based decision making.
