Nurse Unit Manager - Intensive Care Unit

We’re excited to welcome a Nurse Unit Manager to our Surgery & Critical Care team. This position will provide leadership which ensures the efficient and effective use of human and material resources in a specific area within a dynamic health environment and will practice at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Registered Nurse Standards of Practice. The Intensive Care Unit at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital is a tertiary level ICU, currently funded to 12 adult intensive care beds at an equivalent 1:1 nursing ratio with a current physical occupancy of 20 beds. There is further capacity for the ICU to expand when fully commissioned to 30 beds. The ICU provides specialist care for medical and surgical patients provisioned for the SCHHS, with other services planned for the future.

Remuneration value up to $164 212 p.a., comprising salary between $132 562 - $143 924 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
