Your new role:
As the Professional Lead – Occupational Therapy, you'll deliver advanced clinical leadership and professional governance across a multidisciplinary mental health environment. You'll champion best practice, mentor clinicians, and lead innovative sensory initiatives that enhance consumer care. You will:
- Provide high-level clinical consultancy and governance for Occupational Therapists across Bayside AMHS and CYMHS.
- Lead and evaluate sensory approaches across all MSAMHS sites.
- Support, supervise and develop Occupational Therapy teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
- Drive workforce planning, resource management, and quality improvement initiatives.
About you:
You're an experienced and collaborative Occupational Therapist who thrives in leadership roles. You bring strategic insight, advanced clinical expertise, and a passion for evidence-based practice and sensory innovation. You will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
- Advanced clinical expertise in Occupational Therapy within mental health settings.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage services and implement change.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration and engagement.
