About the role
As a Medical Typist at The Prince Charles Hospital, you will provide high-quality, confidential transcription and administrative support to the Department of Medical Imaging. Working with radiologists and the administration team, you'll ensure timely and accurate preparation of medical reports and contribute to efficient departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide accurate and efficient transcription of radiology dictations for electronic signature.
• Manage administrative tasks with autonomy, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to departmental procedures.
• Prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and resolve issues independently when required.
• Support the smooth functioning of the Medical Imaging department through collaboration and communication.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and uphold quality, safety, and ethical standards.
