Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager and Assistant CLLO in the coordinating and managing the functions of the CLLO Office through the provision of leadership, expert advice, training and support on Cabinet procedures and processes.
  • Review and critically evaluation submissions and briefing notes to ensure quality, relevance and appropriateness and that such documents have been developed in accordance with government guidelines.
  • Assist the Manager and Assistant CLLO through the provision of high level specialist services in relation to ensuring the timely and accurate coordination and management of all aspects of the Attorney-General's Cabinet and Cabinet Committee business including briefing notes and other documentation.
  • Assist with the management and coordination of the legislation program for the Justice portfolio; including the management and coordination of the expiry of subordinate legislation made under the Statutory Instruments Act 1992.
  • Ensure the secure storage, handling and dissemination of Cabinet documents within DOJ in compliance with the Governing Queensland Suite, particularly the Cabinet Handbook and relevant guidelines.
