About us:
Nutrition and Dietetics provides a comprehensive clinical nutrition and dietetics service to adult and paediatric patients, including clinical care, research and quality improvement, and education, to optimise the health and wellbeing of patients. Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) offers a comprehensive nutrition and dietetics service across the lifespan to support patients through their acute hospital admission, recovery following discharge or when accessing other specialist outpatient services.
Nutrition and Dietetics provides a Home Enteral Nutrition Service and works closely with food service operations in our multipurpose health services, hospitals, and residential aged care facilities to ensure the provision of high-quality nutritious patient centred menus.
About the role:
An opportunity exists to deliver advanced nutrition and dietetic clinical services and clinical leadership to stakeholders/customers of the Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast and Mount Morgan business unit, and the broader Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service nutrition and dietetics team.
The Dietitian Advanced Clinical Lead is required to contribute to the advancement of quality nutrition and dietetics services and optimal patient care through provision of advanced clinical services and clinical leadership for service development, quality improvement, clinical education, and research activities.
About you:
- Possession of a recognised tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics, and eligibility for full membership with the Dietitians Australia (DA), and maintenance of Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status.
- While not mandatory, a postgraduate qualification consistent with a senior leadership role is highly desirable.
- The successful applicant must participate in and ensure compliance with credentialing and defining scope of clinical practice processes for Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $172,615 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $73.12 - $76.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
