About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to be responsible for the delivery of competent level psychology/social work/occupational therapy services as a member of a multidisciplinary team within Biala and Youth Psychosocial Treatment Team, Metro North Mental Health (MNMH)-Alcohol and Other Drug Service (MNMH-ADS).
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provision of competent level assessment, treatment, risk management, case co-ordination and discharge facilitation to a varied and complex caseload across the continuum of care within MNMH-ADS.
- Actively participate in the multidisciplinary team by providing routine discipline specific clinical formulation and advice, as well as contribute to the development of individualised treatment plans including discharge planning and service provision.
- Deliver clinical education and clinical practice supervision commensurate with experience, to less experienced allied health practitioners, students and members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in the development and implementation of practices, procedures, protocols and other quality and service improvement and research activities for adolescents and young adults within Metro North Mental Health – Alcohol and Drug Service (MNMH-ADS) to continually improve consumer care.
