What you will do (key responsibilities/duties):
• Extensive experience in interpreting, negotiating and managing leases and trends in a portfolio of commercial office (and non-office) accommodation.
• Requires a detailed operating knowledge of the management of commercial leased and license agreements, landlord obligations, property governance and control arrangements ensuring compliance with all legal and financial obligations.
• Plan, support and coordinate infrastructure projects across the department, ensuring alignment with operational needs, cost efficiencies, and workplace health and safety outcomes.
• Collect and analyse data to optimise facilities utilisation to implement effective accommodation strategies to enhance resource management and foster a culture of business improvement.
• Provide authoritative advice and lead the development and implementation of policies, standards, and procedures for best practice office accommodation and ongoing management.
• Consult and develop effective relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver cost effective outcomes.
• Prepare high-quality written and oral advice, including briefs policies, reports and correspondence to a high standard.
What you will bring (qualifications, registrations, experience):
• Demonstrated experience in project management.
• The occupant of this position will be required to hold an unrestricted ‘C' class drivers' licence or be prepared to obtain a licence if they do not. Officers may be required to periodically drive government vehicles as part of their role.
