- Salary range: $216,643 to $274,678 p.a. (L18-L27)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The position's purpose is to provide a Staff Specialist Psychiatrist service to the Townsville Mental Health Service Group (MHSG), specifically to the Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Service (CAYAS) working across any of the teams within CAYAS including within AIUDS, community and NQAFMHS.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualifications in Psychiatry, recognised by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and current registration with/or eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Proof of qualifications recognised by Queensland Health to practice in Medicine and current registration with or eligible for registration/membership with the Medical Board of Australia as a specialist psychiatrist.
- Ongoing professional development relevant to the delivery of specialist Mental Health Services to maintain appropriate registration and/or association requirements is a requirement of all staff within the MHSG.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class “C” motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
