About your opportunity
As a member of the Cultural Assessment & Liaison Team (CALT), Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Service and Specialist Services Program Area you will participate in and contribute to the delivery of a culturally sensitive and appropriate care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients who access the Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Service.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $72,447 to $76,736 p.a. (HWF2)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander to work with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
- Appointment, and future increment progression, between pay points HWF2.1 to HWF2.3 requires:
- Certificate III in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health, or
- Certificate III in Mental Health Peer Work, or
- Certificate III in Mental Health, or
- Certificate III in Alcohol and other Drugs.
- Note: A suitable applicant that does not hold the Cert III qualification may be appointed to a trainee level HWF1 for a fixed term (temporary), subject to engaging and participating in a learning agreement to obtain the required qualification with support under HR Policy G10 Study and Research Assistance Scheme (SARAS). Upon completion of your qualification, you will be progressed to a Permanent HWF2.
