About your role
As an Allied Health Workforce Development Officer, you will lead and support strategic allied health initiatives that improve workforce capability, clinical service delivery and patient outcomes across Metro South Health.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and support workforce development and allied health strategic initiatives
- Design, implement and evaluate projects that improve service delivery and patient outcomes
- Research and recommend innovative models of care, workforce strategies and service redesign opportunities
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across hospital, community and primary healthcare settings
- Prepare high-level reports, briefings, submissions and policy documents for senior leadership
- Monitor project progress, analyse outcomes and report on key performance indicators
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to support successful project delivery
- Facilitate strategic committees, working groups and stakeholder engagement activities
About you
You are a highly motivated allied health professional with experience leading projects, driving service improvement and working collaboratively across complex healthcare environments.
You will demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualifications in an eligible allied health profession with relevant professional registration, accreditation or membership
- Advanced knowledge of contemporary allied health practice, workforce development and service delivery models
- Experience leading strategic projects, programs or service improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of patient-centred and value-based healthcare approaches
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- High-level written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, business cases, briefings and policy documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and inform decision-making
- Ability to lead change and influence outcomes in complex organisational environments
