About the work unit / facility
Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility is a Queensland Health–managed service within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service, located in Charters Towers. The facility provides quality care for up to 110 residents, including dedicated services for dementia, psychogeriatric care, and older persons with complex health needs.
Eventide delivers a multidisciplinary, resident-centred model of care that values individual choice, dignity and rights. Residents, families and carers are actively involved in care planning and decision-making, working in partnership with a skilled team of health professionals. Our nursing and care teams collaborate to provide high-quality care that meets aged care standards, while also supporting meaningful engagement through leisure and recreational activities.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Base salary range: $5364.30 to $5824.20 p.f. (Nurse Grade 7)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus great salary packaging options to increase take-home pay
- Flexible working arrangements may be available
About your opportunity
This is an opportunity to join Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility in a key role supporting quality, innovation and excellence in aged care. You will lead and provide expert guidance in the management of quality and accreditation systems, including compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant legislation, and the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN‑ACC).
Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you will play an important role in supporting best practice care through education, research and strategic leadership. The position offers the opportunity to influence service delivery, support continuous improvement initiatives, and strengthen staff capability to deliver safe, high-quality, resident-centred care.
