What your day could look like

As a Clinical Facilitator – Midwifery, you'll help strengthen the capability of our maternity workforce and support safe, high-quality care for women and families. Working closely with midwives, students and leaders, you'll create learning opportunities that build confidence, develop skills and improve outcomes.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Supporting midwives and students to develop clinical skills, confidence and capability.
  • Promoting evidence-based practice that strengthens safety and quality of care.
  • Identifying learning needs and delivering practical education, coaching and feedback.
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and professional growth.

You're a capable and supportive midwife who enjoys helping others succeed. You lead by example, communicate with confidence and build strong relationships across teams. Whether mentoring a colleague, supporting a learner or driving practice improvement, you're passionate about delivering excellent care and helping others reach their potential.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Current registration as a Midwife with the appropriate professional regulatory body.
  • Advanced clinical midwifery knowledge and a commitment to evidence-based care.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring or assessing clinical capability in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills.

You'll stand out if you have postgraduate qualifications relevant to maternity services and/or training and assessment credentials.

Above all, you'll bring Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage to every interaction, helping teams grow and deliver better outcomes for women and families.
