About the role
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant – Team Leader, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and operational management for the QuEDS Treatment Service. Working closely with the Director Service Development, lead Psychiatrists, and senior health professionals, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality individual and group treatment programs while fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Collaborate with the Director Service Development of QuEDS to design, implement, and lead advanced clinical services, grounded in evidence-based practice, including the development and delivery of both individual and group therapeutic programs, in alignment with professional and ethical standards, to ensure consumer focused outcomes.
- Apply advanced professional judgement to manage complex caseloads and provide guidance to staff, supporting the translation of evidence-based theory into clinical practice through established change management processes.
- Collaborate with the Director Service Development of QuEDS to lead service development and quality improvement initiatives, including conducting evaluations that inform strategic planning and enhance QuEDS treatment programs, service delivery models, and education and training across clinical and professional networks.
- Demonstrate advanced specialist knowledge, experience, and clinical skills in eating disorders.
