The Opportunity
As Project Manager, Enterprise Program, Planning and Delivery, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering strategic enterprise initiatives that support QLeave's future capability and organisational priorities.
This is not a traditional project management role. We are seeking a high-performing professional who can lead complex, high-risk projects from concept through to delivery, navigate ambiguity, and drive outcomes in a dynamic environment.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing expert guidance on project governance, risk management, delivery assurance and business transformation.
Success in this role requires sound judgement, strong stakeholder engagement skills and a genuine commitment to ownership and accountability.
This position reports through the Director, Enterprise Programs, Planning and Delivery and is based at QLeave's Northgate office.
What you'll do
Using your expertise in enterprise project delivery, you will:
- Lead the successful delivery of complex, high-risk projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, time, cost and quality parameters.
- Take ownership of project governance, planning, risk management and delivery assurance to drive successful outcomes.
- Provide strategic advice and expert guidance to senior leaders and project teams on project delivery, business transformation and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain project management plans, frameworks and reporting mechanisms aligned with best-practice methodologies.
- Anticipate and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, enabling proactive decision-making and successful delivery.
- Build trusted relationships and influence key stakeholders across the organisation and external partners to achieve project objectives.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and communication activities to support organisational readiness, adoption and sustainable change.
- Monitor and report on project performance, resources, budgets and benefits to ensure value is delivered to the organisation.
- Champion continuous improvement and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and delivery excellence.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives and undertake other duties as required.
What We're Looking For
You're a results-oriented leader with exceptional communication and project management skills, ready to inspire your team and navigate complexity effectively.
You will be successful in this role if you can demonstrate:
- Proven success delivering large-scale, complex and high-risk projects within complex business or transformation environments.
- Advanced project management expertise, including governance, planning, risk management, financial oversight and delivery assurance.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills, with the ability to build credibility across all organisational levels.
- Exceptional communication, consultation and facilitation skills, including the ability to provide advice and reporting to senior leaders and decision-makers.
- Experience leading organisational change and driving stakeholder adoption of new processes, systems or ways of working.
- Highly developed analytical, conceptual and problem-solving capabilities, with sound judgement and a focus on achieving outcomes.
- A proactive, accountable and results-oriented approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and maintain momentum in complex environments.
Highly regarded:
- Experience applying project management methodologies such as PRINCE2.
- Experience with Microsoft enterprise systems, MS Project and reporting tools such as Smartsheet or Monday.com.
