Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.

We provide Cardiac Interventional, Structural and Electrophysiology services, investigative diagnostic measurements, and in-reach and outreach cardiac clinics.

 

About your role:

Your main tasks may include (but are not limited to):

  • Routine patient cares including assistance with activities of daily living.
  • Monitoring of telemetry including assessment of cardiac rhythms.
  • Routine and complex medication administration including inotropic, vasoactive and anti-arrhythmic infusions.
  • Pre and post procedural care for patients undergoing invasive treatment in our Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (Cath Lab).
  • Administering/assisting with advanced life support during emergent events.
