Role details
The Division of Surgical Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Business Support Officer (Workforce) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
- Coordinate the management of Divisional vacancies through delivery of a range of human resourcing and recruitment activities in close liaison with the Divisional Business Manager and Senior Management Team.
- Coordinate and deliver a service that supports the development of enhanced workforce services to assist the Divisional leads to maintain optimum staffing levels.
- Review and maintain rostering, establishment, mandatory training compliance and across a range of workforce key performance indicators. This includes making recommendations to the Senior Management Team on strategies to improve performance and address the significant challenges faced by the Division to recruit and retain appropriately skilled staff.
- Actively participate in activities that enable the recruitment and selection of Frontline Administration staff.
