Cadet Construction Technicians with RoadTek are provided training and experience in the construction of road transport infrastructure projects, considering quality, traffic, environmental issues, safety, engineering standards, budget constraints and construction economy.

In the role of Cadet (Construction Technician), you will have opportunities to be a part of various projects and services, such as:
• Road construction, maintenance and rehabilitation.
• Structure construction, maintenance and rehabilitation.
• Asset management activities.
• Project management fundamentals.
• Civil Project Quality Plans.
• Inspection and test plans.
• Technical publications, procedures and specifications.
• Electrical services and digital infrastructure.
• Line marking services.
• Emergency and Incident response to disruptive events and infrastructure failures.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions
• Cadets are required to be studying or eligible for enrolment in an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification, accredited under the Dublin Accord.
Desirable Requirements
• Valid Queensland ‘C' class driver's licence or equivalent.

• Your current resume outlining your work achievements and experience, including at least two current referees (employment or personal) maximum 5 pages.
• A short response on how your experience, abilities, knowledge and personal qualities are relevant for the role (1-2 pages).
• Evidence of your enrolment and/or copy of your current academic transcript.
• A copy of relevant qualifications including result achieved.
