Demonstrated knowledge and performance of the concept and skills needed for the practice of modern dentistry for all ages.
Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability in the provision of oral health services, both individually and on a population basis.
Demonstrated ability to function as an effective member of an integrated, multi-disciplinary team.
High level communication, consultation, negotiation and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability in the negotiation and management of activity and budgets.
An understanding of, agreement with and commitment to upholding the mission, and values of Queensland Health and their application to this position.
Sound knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues at both the broad and specific level, with particular reference to workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination.
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification in dentistry from a recognised tertiary institution and eligibility for registration as a dentist in Queensland is essential. Competency or expertise in clinical specialty may be an advantage.
Possession of current radiation licence is essential.
