Remuneration value up to $95 173.00 p.a., comprising salary between $2 902.00 - $3 197.30 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO4) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy). Job Ad Reference: TC304024
Purpose of the role:
The Management Accounting Officer role is to provide management accounting services within Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS), including annual financial budget preparation, accounts receivable/debtor management, internal monthly management reporting, financial analysis and support/ training to cost centre managers with the business units of the Health Service.
- Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications required for this role, possession of a tertiary qualification in accountancy/commerce or business management is highly desirable; including the eligibility of the successful applicant for membership with an accredited professional body, such as CPA Australia. The successful applicant will be supported (both financially and with study leave) to complete /gain a post graduate qualification as CPA/CA.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a C Class Drivers Licence. An appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.
