The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the delivery of safe, high quality anaesthetic support and provides operational and professional management of the anaesthetic healthcare practitioner workforce (approx. 27 FTE) at The Prince Charles Hospital. The position works collaboratively with other members of the anaesthetic support workforce to ensure consistency in practice standards across the facility and Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS).

About the Role

• Lead a team of Anaesthetic Healthcare Practitioners ensuring high standards of quality, safety and patient centred care.

• Supply strategic direction for Anaesthetic Healthcare Practitioners at TPCH.

• Apply high level evidence based practice to lead service quality and improvement activities and contribute to the development of technical competence through supervision and support programs, inservice programs, projects and research.

• Provide and/or coordinate the professional support and supervision of Anaesthetic Healthcare Practitioners at The Prince Charles Hospital.
