This exciting opportunity will be responsible for providing a high level of expert and quality advice and services to clients in respect of human resource management and employee and industrial relations.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and deliver high quality human resource management activities in support of CHQ HHS operational objectives at both the management and individual level.
- Provide first-line quality advice in employee and industrial relations matters.
- Ability to research, develop and recommend workforce management strategies including the provision of quality advice and support to managers, supervisors and staff on a broad range of contemporary human resource management issues to assist in the effective management and development of the client's work force.
- Develop, manage, analyse and produce reports from workforce databases.
- Participate in consultative forums, committees and meetings as required.
- Assist in the coordination of specific human resource activities, projects and initiatives.
To be successful, you will need to have:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in human resource management activities including providing advice to clients on a broad range of workplace issues.
- Demonstrated experience or ability to provide general advice and support in employee relations and industrial relations issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to incorporate authoritative case management into communications, briefs and reports.
- Sound interpersonal skills, including ability to educate, support, consult and communicate with all levels of staff, and in negotiating and influencing to achieve successful outcomes
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, adaptability, performance and productivity
- High level ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a respectful, supportive work environment that promotes continuous improvement.
